Welcome to the inaugural blog post for SarahCare of Coral Springs Adult Day Care Center! As a family-owned and operated center, co-founders Lewis and Megan Beyda are dedicated to providing quality care for seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, and other health challenges. In this post, we'll share our story, the services we offer, and why we're passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families in Broward County.
How It All Began
SarahCare of Coral Springs was founded in 2006 with a simple but powerful mission: to provide exceptional care for seniors in a warm, home-like environment. What started as a vision has grown into a thriving adult day care center that has served thousands of families throughout Broward County.
Our journey into senior care was deeply personal. Like many families, we experienced firsthand the challenges of caring for aging loved ones. We saw the need for a place where seniors could receive professional care, engage in meaningful activities, and enjoy social connections - all while giving family caregivers the support and respite they desperately needed.

Family-Owned and Operated
Unlike large corporate facilities, SarahCare of Coral Springs is family-owned and operated. This means we're personally invested in every aspect of the care we provide. When you call our center, you might speak directly with us. When you visit, you'll see us working alongside our staff, getting to know every participant by name.
Specialized Alzheimer's Services License
We're proud to be one of the few adult day care centers in Broward County with an AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) Specialized Alzheimer's Services License. This certification means we meet enhanced standards for dementia care, including:
- Specialized staff training in Alzheimer's and dementia care
- A 1:5 staff-to-participant ratio for memory care
- Secured facility to prevent wandering
- Programming specifically designed for cognitive stimulation

Over nearly two decades, we've built more than just a care center - we've built a community. Our participants become like family to us, and many families have been with us for years. Affordable Care Options
We believe quality senior care should be accessible. Our rate of $75 per day includes all meals, activities, and nursing services. We accept:
- Medicaid Long-Term Managed Care (LTMC) - with free transportation
- Veterans Administration (VA) benefits
- Private pay
We also offer a complimentary 1-day free trial so families can experience our care before making a commitment.
